Coaching for real life — not quick fixes

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what support you actually need, this is a calm place to start. Book a 45-minute session and leave with clarity and next-step options.

No pressure to continue. The session stands on it's own.

You'll Walk Away With:

  • A clear picture of what you'd like to work on

  • The top 1 to 2 patterns worth focusing on first

  • Practical next steps you can take immediately

  • A recommendation on your best support option

Need nutritional support? We can incorporate that as well in the first session

Start Your Journey

Grounded & non-judgmental

A safe space to be honest — without shame, pressure, or platitudes.

Practical next steps

You won’t leave with vague inspiration. You’ll leave with a plan.

Faith-aware, not preachy

We respect your faith journey without using it as a weapon.

This coaching is for you if...

You don’t need a perfect plan. You need a clear next step.

  • You feel emotionally exhausted or mentally overloaded

  • Faith feels complicated — or quieter — right now

  • You’re tired of quick fixes, clichés, or being talked at

  • You’re unsure whether coaching, counseling, nutrition support, or something else is right

Session Details:

  • 45-minute 1:1 session

  • $90 flat rate

  • No pressure to continue

  • No long-term commitment

What happens in your first 45 minutes?

This is not a sales call. It’s a focused clarity session designed to help you understand what’s really going on — and what support would actually help.

1) We listen and map the problem

You share what’s been weighing on you. We make sense of the emotions, stressors, and patterns.

2) We identify what’s driving it

We name 1–2 leverage points — the places where a small change can make a real difference.

3) You leave with next steps

You walk away with a simple plan for the next 7 days and clear options for support moving forward.

You'll leave with:

  • Clarity on what matters most right now

  • Relief from having to figure it all out alone

  • Steps that match your current capacity

  • A recommendation for your best next support option

Need nutritional support? We can incorporate that as well in the first session

What this is (and isn't)

This is

  • Calm, grounded conversation

  • Honest reflection + tools

  • Respectful faith-aware support

This isn’t

  • Therapy or crisis care

  • A sermon or spiritual pressure

  • A long sales pitch

Optional nutrition support

For some people, emotional and mental health challenges are closely connected to food, energy, stress eating, or body trust. When helpful, we can incorporate gentle, evidence-based nutrition support as part of your plan.

Nutrition support is never required — it’s simply an added layer of care when it fits.

Common reasons people add nutrition support

  • Stress or emotional eating

  • All-or-nothing cycles (“on track” / “off track”)

  • Energy, consistency, and sustainable routines

  • Shame-based food rules

How we decide what's best

We’ll use your first session to determine whether ongoing coaching, nutrition support, counseling, or another path is the right next step.

Jason and Gail Henry-Ruhl bring together lived experience, professional training, and faith-rooted wisdom to support holistic healing—mind, body, and spirit.

Jason Henry-Ruhl is a faith-based mental health advocate, speaker, and coach with over a decade of leadership experience across ministry, technology, and organizational development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lancaster Bible College, where he developed a strong theological foundation, and has spent years bridging the gap between faith communities and mental health awareness.

Through Mindful Faith Living, Jason focuses on helping individuals heal from shame, trauma, burnout, and spiritual harm—particularly for those who feel unseen or misunderstood within church spaces. His work integrates biblical truth with emotional intelligence, trauma-informed care principles, and practical tools for growth, always emphasizing grace over legalism and progress over perfection.

Gail Henry-Ruhl, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian with professional experience in both civilian healthcare and the military. She specializes in evidence-based nutrition, metabolic health, and sustainable wellness, integrating mindfulness and intuitive eating while recognizing the emotional, relational, and spiritual layers connected to food and body image.

Gail’s coaching approach is rooted in science, compassion, and faith—helping clients move away from diet culture, guilt, and control, and toward nourishment, freedom, and stewardship of the body. She integrates holistic health principles with realistic, grace-filled strategies that support long-term well-being.

Together, Jason and Gail coach from the intersection of faith, mental and emotional health, leadership, and physical wellness. As a divorced-and-remarried couple raising a blended family of six boys, they bring humility, honesty, and real-world understanding to their work—meeting people where they are and walking with them toward healing, wholeness, and a life rooted in peace and purpose.
